WHEN A HOMEOWNER
ASKS AN AI WHO TO CALL
— IS IT YOU?
Your next customer is asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Google which HVAC company to hire. We put you in front of them there, in the Local Map Pack, and everywhere else they look — then pre-sell them with twelve years of kitchen-table selling, so more of that demand turns into sold jobs.
Built for HVAC companies doing $200K+ per year with a proven sales process. No obligation, no pitch deck — a working session on your numbers.
The numbers owners
actually care about.
These are individual client outcomes, reported by the owners themselves. They are not typical or guaranteed results — every market, fleet size, and sales process is different.
Illustrative progression of the reported monthly figures.
Tyler and his team helped me go from $45,000 a month to $430,000 a month in 4 months flat!
Individual client result. Not a typical or guaranteed outcome.
“Since we started working together for the past year. Every single month the business has grown by at least 10%. The smallest growth in any month was 10%.”
Brian was already running about $4M a year and believed he was capped. He grew another 10% a month on average for the year — to roughly $6M. He was one already-large client: most clients see 15–25% monthly growth.
“I’ve finally been able to hire a full time installation crew!”
Growth is not only about lead volume. The right demand lets a contractor add the crew, the trucks, and the installs that turn a bigger pipeline into a bigger company.
Eric V. closed 2 deals for $24,795 in his first 6 days running ads — reported by the client.
Andrew Chagollan went 2/2 on tune-up conversions, both jobs booked — reported by the client.
Facebook replacement-lead ad sales in one year — reported by a client.
Ruben was taught the system and ran the ads himself — $800,000 in his first 12 months.
Growth compounds into
an enterprise value.
Stronger brands, predictable demand, and a sales process that converts are what make an HVAC company worth multiples of its revenue — not just busier. That is the difference between owning a job and owning an asset.
A client grew from roughly $4 million to $7 million in annual revenue during the consulting relationship.
Brian Eadie, who owned 669 HVAC in Sudbury, sold the business for more than $30 million. The company grew significantly during the consulting relationship.
MacWhirter Consulting contributed to this growth through marketing, positioning, and sales infrastructure. Sale price and total business growth reflect many factors, including the owner’s operations, capacity, and market conditions.
Most HVAC companies
don’t have a lead problem.
They have a system problem. Demand arrives in spikes, follow-up lives in someone’s head, and the marketing that does work can’t be repeated on purpose. Here is what that looks like from the owner’s chair.

“How do we get to $400K a month?”
The question that started it — and we made it happen.
Inconsistent lead generation
Feast or famine months make it impossible to plan crews, trucks, or cash flow with any confidence.
Overreliance on referrals
Referrals are the best leads you will ever get — and the only channel you have no control over.
Poor follow-up and conversion
Quotes go out and go cold. Nobody owns the second, third, and fourth touch that closes the job.
Rising acquisition costs
Ad costs climb every year while your close rate on internet leads stays flat.
A weak or undifferentiated brand
You look like every other contractor in the market, so the only thing left to compete on is price.
Difficulty expanding installation capacity
You cannot hire a crew until the pipeline is predictable — and the pipeline stays unpredictable until you build the system.
Leads without profitable sales
Plenty of calls, not enough revenue. Volume without conversion is just a bigger phone bill.
A ceiling you keep hitting
Every attempt to push past your current revenue level stalls at the same place: the owner doing all the selling.
A connected marketing system changes the arithmetic. When positioning, demand generation, retargeting, follow-up, and reporting run as one machine instead of six disconnected vendors, every dollar of ad spend works against a defined process — and you can finally see which ones produce revenue instead of just leads.
Five pillars. One system.
This is not a menu of services you assemble yourself. It is a single install: we build the brand, generate the demand, recover what you already lost, wire the follow-up, and report on what actually produced revenue.
Brand & Positioning
Make the business stand out in its market and communicate its value. Premium positioning is what lets you stop competing on price and start selling on trust.
Direct-Response Marketing
Qualified demand through campaigns built around measurable outcomes — replacement leads, tune-ups, and installs, tracked back to revenue rather than impressions.
AI Search & Maps
We track where you show up when a homeowner asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok who to call — and where you appear across the Local Map Pack — then fix the gaps. Visibility that compounds and does not switch off when you pause a budget.
Retargeting & Follow-Up
Recover missed opportunities and convert demand you already paid for. Most contractors lose the job in the follow-up, not the first call.
AI Growth Infrastructure
The plumbing underneath: lead routing, CRM integration, speed-to-lead automation, and the reporting that ties every AI-referred and map-referred call back to a sold job.
Performance & Strategy
Track results and tighten the connection between marketing, sales, revenue, and profitability. Every month you should know what worked and what it returned.
Pre-Sold Customers
Twelve years of selling HVAC at the kitchen table, put into the marketing. Buyers arrive already understanding the value — so your techs and comfort advisors close at a higher rate.
Operating targets for the system within its target market, not a guarantee. Actual volume depends on your market, budget, and capacity.
Designed for HVAC businesses above $200,000 in annual revenue with a proven sales process.
In the last 12 months this system has scaled 38 HVAC companies to roughly $68.4 million in combined revenue, with average first-month client revenue of about $85,000 after installation.
Aggregate client figures. Individual results vary — no two markets or fleets perform identically.

Tyler MacWhirter
Founder · Growing HVAC companies since 2016
I have been growing HVAC companies through branding and direct response marketing since 2016.
I spent twelve years in the field as a Comfort Advisor — first with Service Experts, then One Hour Heating & Air. That means twelve years of sitting at kitchen tables, running load calculations, handling objections, and closing tens of millions of dollars of residential HVAC one household at a time.
I have also been buying direct-response advertising on the internet for twenty-two years — starting at sixteen, long before I ever sold an HVAC system, and building multiple brands with my own money behind them.
Here is what that actually looked like. Over the years I have put more than $800,000 of my own money into direct-response advertising and media buying — not a client’s budget, my own. While I was selling HVAC during the day, I was running ads for an ecommerce store I owned, an essential oils business, taking the commissions I earned at the kitchen table and putting them straight back into ad dollars. I built that store past one million dollars a year in revenue, about $80,000 a month. Same skill set, two very different industries.
So I know exactly what makes a homeowner say yes, and I know how to buy the traffic that gets you in front of them profitably. That combination is rare, and it is the reason MacWhirter Consulting exists.
I also build organic demand. I played AAA hockey in Niagara Falls, Ontario from age seven to sixteen, and at sixteen I started a website selling hockey sticks online. I spent nothing on ads — pure SEO — and built it to $7,000 a month in recurring income. I was a teenager, and it paid me every month from sixteen until twenty-four. That is the same SEO work I bolt onto every client’s marketing plan, so your growth is not sitting on rented ad inventory alone.
Instead of buying leads and hoping your team can close them, we build the marketing that pre-sells the homeowner — so your buyers walk into a warmer conversation with a customer who already understands the value, not one who is shopping three contractors on price. Better return on your ad dollars, a higher close rate for the team you already pay, and a company that keeps growing past the ceiling most contractors hit.
